Arrival & Departure
The rooms, suites and apartments are ready for occupancy from 14.30 hrs on the day of arrival and are available until 11 hrs on the day of departure. Luggage can be deposited in the ski room at any time.
Summer & Winter Season in Zermatt
The summer season starts mid of June and lasts until end of September.
The winter season already starts at the end of November and lasts until the end of April.
Breakfast at Matterhorn Lodge – Eating out
As a four-star hotel we offer a substantial breakfast buffet between 7:30 am and 10:30 am.
Vouchers & Gifts
Give the gift of a break at Matterhorn Lodge! The individually designed vouchers are a popular gift for any occasion. The mementos of our hotel which we sell at the reception are also really popular, and include fluffy bathrobes, terry towels with our logo, high-quality cashmere blankets, the Sirocco tea assortment, Ambiente napkins or the Zermatt panorama knife. In our online shop you can personalise your voucher, pay securely online and print it out immediately.
With the chip card you open your room and the hotel entrance door, the wellness area and the ski locker. If a card is lost or not returned we reserve the right to charge CHF 10 on the final bill.
Shopping Service
We offer our guests in suites and flats a shopping service to ensure a relaxed arrival. Send us your shopping list and on your arrival the refrigerator will already be stocked as desired.
Travel Insurance
Unforeseen events can happen before the start of a journey, so we recommend that you take out travel insurance or travel cancellation cover. This will protect you from unnecessary costs.
Swiss Bike Hotel
We are a certified hotel with the necessary infrastructure: bike cleaning area, repair kit and laundry service for sportswear. We provide detailed information material with tour suggestions and cooperate with a bike shop for rentals and repairs.

Valuables in the Safe
Please lock away your valuables in the safe. We accept no liability for the theft of items that have not been locked in the safe or ski locker.
Pets
Pets are not allowed in our hotel.
Smokeless
The Matterhorn Lodge is smoke-free. We ask you to protect the environment and use the ashtrays that are available outside.
